About Us
History
Our story starts way back, when I was just 15 years of age...
- 2002 - STARTED TAX COMPANY AS ANDERSON'S MANAGEMENT COMPANY
- 2004 - FOUNDED THE K.E.Y.A. FOUNDATION TO TEACH ENTREPRENEURSHIP TO KIDS AND YOUNG ADULTS
- 2007 - MOVED FROM THE BASEMENT TO FIRST OFFICE IN HOMEWOOD
- 2010 - CHANGED TO ANDERSON'S ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT CORPORATION
- 2012 - STARTED OUR TAX AND MARKETING INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
I was 15 years of age when I realized I wanted to be a Certified Public Accountant. The revelation came when I was working as a secretary for my father’s HVAC company. I worked many days over each Summer beside my Aunt assisting with various accounting tasks. This taught me the importance of having an accountant as apart of a business.
From that point on, I would take steps that would get me closer to my dream of becoming a CPA. From graduating with a High School Diploma in accounting and bookkeeping from Jones Commercial High School to graduating from DePaul University with a degree in Commerce and finally receiving a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Planning from St. Xavier University.
AEMC is the result of my love and passion for accounting and taxation particularly for small business owners. Working for my father’s company and being witness to the challenges he faced as a business owner, gives me compassion for our small business clients. I understand the importance of them achieving financial success through their business and I wanted to create a company that would help them achieve their goal.

We ensure our clients expectations are exceeded through our U.P.E Process. In this process we gain UNDERSTANDING, we then create a PLAN, and lastly we assist with EXECUTING the plan of action!

Kristal has been our CPA for the past few years. AEMC customer service is impeccable. Always prompt in following up, very detail orientented, most of all my returns are prepared within a timely manner. I had my personal and business returns for 2020 & 2021 prepared by AEMC and I was truly satisfied. As my return is very extensive and require paying attention to details. My 2020 had to be amended and I MUST say that AEMC saved me THOUSANDS of dollars.
